E-Poster

FORMAT

  • Software: PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx)
  • Layout: Single slide, horizontal orientation, 16:9 aspect ratio.

CONTENT

  • All are written and presented in English.
  • The header must include the Study name, author(s), and affiliation. The facility must be attached to the top of the poster.
  • The poster should be organized into sections including Introduction, Method, Results, and Conclusion. Cited up to 5 relevant references.
  • Choose the most important data to present on the e-poster.

DESIGN

  • All text, charts, graphs, etc. must be clear at a distance of 2 m to 5 m. Use a minimum font size of 24 for the main text.
  • The header must be at least 4 cm high.
  • Use a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters. Avoid all-caps text. Use sans-serif fonts for better readability.
  • Use bold font for emphasis.

ILLUSTRATION

  • Keep images and illustrations simple.
  • Enlarge images for better visibility at 5 meters.
  • Avoid hand-drawn images.

LAYOUT

  • Limit paragraph length to 10-20 lines.
  • Use bullet points and graphics to break up text.
  • Use arrows to guide the viewer’s eye.
  • Incorporate white space to improve readability.

COLOUR

  • Use a limited color palette to emphasize key elements and enhance visual appeal. Colored borders can be used strategically to highlight specific sections.
  • Ensure sufficient contrast between text and background colors for optimal readability. Consider using bold text on a light background or light text on a dark background.
  • Avoid using overly bright colors.
