Professor Carlo Bettocchi
Professor of Urology, University of Foggia, Italy
Professor Carlo Bettocchi is chief of the Andrology and Male Genitalia Reconstructive Surgery Unit, Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences at Policlinico Riuniti—University of Foggia, Italy. Professor Bettocchi is currently Chairman of the EAU Section of Andrology (ESAU) in 2024, highlighting his standing in the field.
He is an expert in diagnosing and treating diverse urological conditions, including cancers and BPH, but he is most notable for his research on male infertility..
He has published over 300 articles, book chapters, and contributions to medical journals. He also reviews several international scientific journals and has led or participated in numerous research protocols in uro-andrology.
Professor Bettocchi’s main topics are male sexual dysfunction, infertility, and gender dysphoria. Professor Bettocchi is also a frequent speaker at international conferences, sharing his knowledge with colleagues worldwide.
