Prof. Souya Nunobe
Director Department of Gastric Surgery, Cancer Institute Hospital, Tokyo, Japan
Prof. Souya Nunobe is a renowned expert in the field of gastric cancer surgery. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Kumamoto University’s Medical School in 1996 and earned his doctorate from Kyoto University in 2007. With nearly two decades of experience in minimally invasive surgical techniques, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional surgical skills.
As the Director of the Department of Gastric Surgery at the Cancer Institute Hospital since 2019, he has significantly contributed to numerous Japan Clinical Oncology Group (JCOG) clinical trials. His expertise is further evidenced by his live surgical demonstrations at prestigious institutions across China, Hong Kong, and Vietnam.
Prof. Souya Nunobe has published over 160 peer-reviewed articles in renowned surgical and oncology journals. His research has significantly advanced the understanding of postoperative quality of life (QoL) following gastrectomy.
